6. Payment
We accept approved payment methods as displayed during checkout or specified on quotations.
Orders will only be dispatched once payment has cleared unless otherwise agreed.
7. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only.
Highland Distributors will make every reasonable effort to deliver within the estimated timeframe but cannot guarantee delivery dates.
Delivery delays caused by:
- courier companies;
- suppliers;
- weather;
- strikes;
- force majeure;
are beyond our control.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
8. Inspection of Goods
Customers should inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.
Any shortages, damages or incorrect items should be reported within 48 hours of receiving the order.
9. Warranty
Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.
Warranty claims do not cover:
- misuse;
- abuse;
- incorrect installation;
- normal wear and tear;
- modifications made by the customer.
10. Limitation of Liability
Highland Distributors shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages;
- consequential losses;
- loss of profits;
- downtime;
- production losses arising from the use of any product supplied.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product concerned.
11. Intellectual Property
All website content including:
- logos;
- graphics;
- product descriptions;
- text;
- images;
remain the property of Highland Distributors unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied without written permission.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected is handled in accordance with applicable South African privacy legislation.
